We are a high end photography and Videography company based out of Ventura County and specialize in Event, Wedding, headshots, Bar/bat mitzvah, corporate, and other types of photography and video services. We work extensively throughout the Ventura County and L.A. areas.

AS THE OWNER OF IN FOCUS PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO I PRIDE MYSELF ON KNOWING THAT I HAVE THE EXPERIENCE AND ARTISTIC SENSIBILITY TO CAPTURE YOUR EVENT OR PHOTO SESSION AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS. I HAVE A VERY EXTENSIVE PHOTOGRAPHY BACKGROUND HAVING BOTH WORKED FOR NUMEROUS PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER/VIDEO COMPANIES AND HAVING AN EDUCATION AS A VISUAL ARTIST FROM CALIFORNIA STATE CHANNEL ISLANDS. I HAVE ALSO HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF WORKING FOR THE ACORN NEWSPAPER AS A STRINGER PHOTOGRAPHER AND HAVING MULTIPLE FRONT PAGE PHOTOS. MY EXPERIENCE AS AN EVENT PHOTOGRAPHER AND VIDEOGRAPHER GOES BACK OVER 15 YEARS AND HAVE OVER 300 EVENTS UNDER MY BELT.

Our home base is in Simi Valley but we do events and portrait sessions throughout Ventura County and Los Angeles. We are happy to travel wherever your event is. I am very familiar with hundreds of event venues throughout Southern CA. My goal before every event is to familiarize myself with both the clients requests and photo list as well as to arrive at every venue early to have the chance to walk around and get ideas of where all the best spots are for photographs. Some of the things I take into consideration when scouting out locations is how the lighting is and also the scenic aspects of spots I am thinking of using for the client. This way I will always have a plan before starting the pictures. This also puts my client at ease. I always take an easy going approach to directing the photography but I am always aware of the time and make sure to stay on schedule.

When lighting is challenging we look for ways to overcome challenging lighting conditions and we always have a plan A, B, and C, when it comes to the locations we decide to use at any particular venue. Lighting and compositions are of the utmost importance to us so planning is always important and we have the ability to think quickly at any given moment for the best way to capture your memories.
